There are many types of psychotherapy, each with its own approach. The type of psychotherapy that's right for you depends on your individual situation. Psychotherapy is also known as talk therapy, counseling, psychosocial therapy or, simply, therapy.

Hi there, how are you feeling today? I am here to walk alongside you on your journey and provide mental health services tailored to your needs. I hold a flexible and multifaceted approach to therapy, and will be creative in drawing from my toolbox of CBT and mindfulness techniques.

I earned my Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Columbia University Teachers College.

I have worked in hospitals, colleges and communities clinics, and ultimately found myself here. I have supported over 200 clients; many being BIPOC youth and young adults, living with disabilities or navigating through other minority identities.

I am competent to provide counselling and therapy in career/academic development, trauma, mood disorders, learning disabilities, interpersonal effectiveness and family relationships.

Life is difficult sometimes and we need to lean on each other to get through them. I specialize in providing a caring and supportive ear to those that are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationships, anger management, ADHD, grief, trauma and the stress of everyday life.

I have worked within the social service field for over 20 years in Canada and England. I have worked with individuals of all ages to help them gain coping skills to successfully navigate through their lives.

Pawel’s previous work background includes diverse training and clinical experiences in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. He has also worked in schools, teaching at the College level, community mental health programs, daycares, sports camps and through wellness seminars and conferences.

Pawel is a lifetime competitive athlete, having played ice hockey at the College level and tennis at the Provincial level. Pawel is also an anti-Leaf fan and watch every game, making sure that they lose and never win the cup (So far so good!)

Chris is a registered Certified Canadian Counsellor with CCPA (Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association), and has a Masters in Clinical Counselling. He has 10 years of counselling experience and is trained in evidence based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and aspects of Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).
